One.

Two.

Consider your season

Choose brighter colours for spring and summer and darker more moody colours for autumn and winter

If you are uncertain - neutrals and earthy tones always look beautiful and classic

Three.

Be comfortable

Plan in advance to avoid problems on the day - if you don't feel good, it will show in your portraits

Keep it simple for the kids - and put their outfits on once you arrive to keep them clean

Wear shoes you can walk in, avoid straps that fall down and tops that ride up

Fitted clothing flatters more than baggy clothing

Four.

For studio shoots neutral colours and no patterns are best
